Cello tutorial 1./b

Volume 1./b of Gardian Cello Tutorials is a first-year introductory syllabus, an organic continuation of the previous volume. It presents further theoretical and technical knowledge necessary to lay the foundation for cello playing. Information segments are gradually built upon each other through experiential musical material.

The clear methodological structure and the diverse variety of music make the work invested in learning to play the cello a joyful and gratifying experience from the beginning.

In addition to the tasks that develop the playing skills of the right and left hands (martele, extended positions, half position, arpeggio, playing chords), the volume also contains further knowledge of music theory providing an independent guide for both teachers and students, regardless of age and previous musical training.

Well-selected music from Volume 1./b is adapted to the beginner’s level, enabling them to rapidly develop their skills. This ensures the work invested in learning is quickly followed by a stage performance and a wonderful sense of accomplishment and success.
